WTO To Examine US Zeroing Of South Korean Steel Imports

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 5:42 PM EST) -- The World Trade Organization on Wednesday formed a dispute resolution panel to address the U.S.' controversial use of “zeroing” in determining anti-dumping tariffs for imports of steel products from South Korea.

Following South Korea's request that the WTO review the U.S. Department of Commerce's anti-dumping policies, the international trade organization's Dispute Settlement Body established the panel to assess the application of zeroing on South Korean corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products.
