CFTC Tweaking Swap Dealer Rule Over End User Fears

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 4:32 PM EST) -- The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission expects to soon complete a "swap dealer" definition that will address commercial end users' worries that they could unnecessarily shoulder pricey regulations because of their hedging activities, the regulator's chairman told lawmakers Wednesday.
