USPTO Makes Changes To Trademark Board Rules

Law360, New York (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office made significant amendments to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Rules on Wednesday, after 19 months of deliberations.

“This is big, big, big news,” said Jonathan Hudis, partner in the trademark and copyright practice group at Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt PC. “The trademark board really did its job and did it well. And a better work product came out of it.”
