Cypress Ends Memory IP Claims Against HP, Motorola

Law360, New York (February 28, 2012, 2:46 PM EST) -- Cypress Semiconductor Corp. has resolved allegations in an ongoing complaint before the U.S. International Trade Commission that Hewlett-Packard Co., Motorola Mobility Inc. and other companies imported memory sticks that infringe a number of Cypress patents, according to ITC records made public Monday.

The ITC earlier this month made two initial determinations with Cypress' blessing that HP, Motorola, Tellabs Inc. and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson did not import into the U.S. static random access memory products that infringed a quartet of Cypress' SRAM patents.
