EU Official Urges US To Follow Data Protection Lead

Law360, New York (March 19, 2012, 7:06 PM EDT) -- European Commission Vice President Viviane Reding on Monday challenged the U.S. to elevate its privacy law to match the standards articulated in the European Union’s proposed data protection overhaul, in an address to lawmakers on both sides of the Atlantic.
