NY Northern District Court Hailed As Tops In Productivity

Law360, New York (February 28, 2012, 7:20 PM EST) -- The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York tops the federal court productivity ranking published Tuesday, compiled by U.S. District Judge William G. Young, who recently began a push to focus federal courts' productivity measures on jury trials.

The judges of New York's Northern District spent more time on the bench, and in trial, than their colleagues in any of the other 93 U.S. district courts did in 2010, according to the rankings Judge Young published Tuesday on Robert Ambrogi's LawSites blog....
