Goodyear Pours More Salt In Ledbetter's Wound

Law360 (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adding insult to injury, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has slapped Lilly Ledbetter with a bill for $3,200 in court-related costs, three months after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the reversal of a $4 million discrimination award previously handed to the Goodyear veteran.

Ledbetter, who worked at one of the company's Alabama plants for nearly twenty years, received the bill earlier this month in the wake of the High Court's decision to disallow claims that she earned less than her male counterparts.
