GE To Build 41 Wind Turbines For German Farm

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 4:23 PM EST) -- General Electric Co. inked a deal Thursday with German wind project developer Energiekontor AG to build 41 multi-megawatt wind turbines with enough capacity to power 70,000 German homes.

The turbines, which are expected to be commissioned next year, will generate 250 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, according to a statement GE issued Thursday.

The company did not disclose the value of the deal, or say how Energiekontor planned to finance the project. Representatives for the companies did not immediately return requests for comment Thursday....
