John Edwards Declared Healthy Enough For April Trial

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 2:38 PM EST) -- A North Carolina federal judge cleared former presidential hopeful John Edwards on Thursday to go on trial April 23 for violations of campaign finance laws, saying the medical condition that had previously delayed the trial is now under control, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
