NH Wins 1st Medicaid Boost For In-Home Senior Care

Law360, New York (March 2, 2012, 7:35 PM EST) -- New Hampshire became the first state Friday to receive federal Medicaid dollars to provide long-term care for seniors and people with disabilities outside nursing homes, part of a $3 billion program created by the 2010 health care law.

New Hampshire will get $26.5 million in additional federal matching funds for Medicaid for the next three years, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Friday.
