DC Circ. Says DOI Can't Make Noble Spend $20M On Well Plug

Law360, New York (March 5, 2012, 6:37 PM EST) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday overturned a ruling that the U.S. could order Noble Energy Inc. to spend $20 million to permanently plug a well off the California coast, saying another decision in their breach of contract fight relieved Noble of that responsibility.
