Baker Said To Be Closing San Diego Office This Month

Law360, San Diego (March 2, 2012, 8:31 PM EST) -- After months of rumors, Baker & McKenzie LLP on Thursday broke the news to its San Diego attorneys and staffers that the global firm plans to pull out of the city by the end of this month, sources within the firm told Law360.

“People were expecting it, but didn’t know when it was going to happen,” one source said, referring to news reports speculating about the closing of the office since mid-January. “The writing was on the wall.”
