Hydropower Bill Backers Want 'Absurd' NEPA Rules Nixed

Law360, New York (March 6, 2012, 6:47 PM EST) -- House Republicans on Tuesday blasted Democratic opposition to a bill that would waive "absurd" environmental regulations in an effort to allow small hydroelectric generators to be installed in pre-existing pipelines and canals, accusing opponents of contradicting their own environmental values.
