Cleveland's Primus Capital Closes In On $300M Fund Target

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 7:19 PM EST) -- Primus Capital Funds, a Cleveland-based private equity firm, has raised nearly $200 million in its seventh fund and aims to tack on another $100 million before closing it, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Additional details of the newly formed Primus Capital Fund VII LP were unavailable, and a director declined to comment on Wednesday. The firm closed on its last fund in August 2008 with $275 million, an oversubscription of about $25 million, according to investor documents.
