Dutch Energy Company Sues Over Unbundling

Law360, New York (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Angered by a directive forcing utility providers to unbundle their services, a Dutch energy company has sued the government of the Netherlands, demanding that it pay the costs of the split.

In a statement issued Monday, Delta said that it was “initiating legal proceedings against the state in a bid to safeguard against the unnecessary costs that come with splitting up the company.”
