Committee Fights On In Request For KPMG Documents

Law360, New York (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New Century Financial Corp.'s official committee of unsecured creditors on Monday continued its fight to force auditing firm KPMG LLC to turn over information about the case, arguing Monday that the firm's documentation falls squarely into matters the committee should investigate.

In the motion filed Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the committee responded to KPMG's argument that it shouldn't have to produce documents in the case.
