Rothstein Trustee's TD Bank Suit Stays Put For Now

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 7:01 PM EST) -- A suit filed by Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler PA's bankruptcy trustee accusing TD Bank NA of helping Scott Rothstein carry out his $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme will stay in bankruptcy court for the near future, a Florida federal judge ruled Friday.

Trustee Herbert Stettin launched his adversary proceeding last July, seeking to avoid and recover allegedly fraudulent transfers made through the bank, which he accuses of turning a blind eye to obviously illegal banking practices by Rothstein.
