Citgo Should Have Ensured Oil Ship's Safety, US Tells 3rd Circ.

Law360, Washington (March 12, 2012, 6:18 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government told the Third Circuit on Friday that a lower court erred in dismissing an $88 million suit against Citgo Asphalt Refining Co. stemming from a 2004 oil tanker accident, saying ensuring safe passage for the ship was Citgo's responsibility.
