Govt. Ordered To Halt Drilling In South Shale Ridge

Law360 (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal district judge has ordered the government to halt gas development and leasing in a Colorado area that had been considered earlier for protection, requiring the agency to do further research on drilling techniques that might better preserve the delicate environment and the rare species that call it home.
