GOP Launches Push To Defang Lacey Act

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Republican lawmakers on Thursday introduced legislation in both houses of Congress to amend an act barring the sale or import of fish, plants or wildlife deemed illegal by other nations by reducing its penalties and nixing provisions citing foreign laws.
