Some Warner Chilcott Birth Control May Not Work, FDA Warns

Law360, New York (March 13, 2012, 1:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Thursday manufacturing violations at a Warner Chilcott PLC plant in Puerto Rico have led to the distribution of potentially defective birth control pills that may leave women at risk for unwanted pregnancy.

In a warning letter sent to the company, the FDA said it discovered the violations during an inspection of the facility last summer.
