Citi Survey Shows Firms Cautiously Optimistic On 2012 Demand

Law360, New York (March 14, 2012, 7:18 PM EDT) -- Managing partners are cautiously looking forward to an uptick in demand for legal services in 2012 amid a climate of market volatility spurred in part by the 2011 European debt crisis, according to a Citi Private Bank report released Wednesday.

Nearly half of the respondents from the 58 law firms surveyed in the fourth quarter of 2011 said they expected to see an increase in demand of up to 3 percent, while 26 percent of respondents said they expected an increase of more than that, according...
