Idaho Senate Passes Updated Right-To-Work Bill

Law360, New York (March 14, 2012, 7:49 PM EDT) -- The Idaho Senate on Wednesday passed a bill to expand the state's right-to-work laws just three months after an Idaho federal judge overturned a previous version of the law because it violated the National Labor Relations Act.

The Open Access to Work Act prohibits agencies from requiring “project labor agreements” in which contractors and suppliers are forced to sign collective bargaining and other agreements with labor unions before they can bid on public works projects.
