EPA Finds No Fracking Contamination In Pa. Town's Water

Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 10:29 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday said it had found no hazardous contamination in well water in Dimock, Pa., where residents claimed to have suffered health problems as a result of Cabot Oil & Gas Corp.’s drilling operations.

The first round of sampling results for the first 11 homes sampled in January “did not show levels of contamination that could present a health concern,” the EPA said in a statement.
