ExxonMobil Wins Bid To Keep EDPM Docs Secret

Law360, New York (August 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- ExxonMobil Corp. and two other defendants in the long-running ethylene propylene diene monomer antitrust litigation have won the right to file under seal a proposed supplemental memorandum in opposition to the plaintiffs’ bid for class certification.

ExxonMobil, along with DSM Copolymer, Inc. and DSM Elastomers Europe B.V., petitioned the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Tuesday to allow them to file the document and three related exhibits under seal, arguing that they contained “highly sensitive confidential information” protected from disclosure.
