House Subcommittee To Subpoena MF Global Exec

Law360, New York (March 21, 2012, 7:41 PM EDT) -- A House subcommittee investigating the collapse of MF Global Holdings Ltd. voted Wednesday to subpoena a one-time assistant treasurer with the company whom lawmakers say can help explain how as much as $1.6 billion in customer funds went missing.

U.S. Rep. Randy Neugebauer, chairman of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, said in a statement that Edith O’Brien has “unique, personal knowledge” regarding the missing customer funds.
