DOE Carves Out Up To $450M For 2 Reactor Projects

Law360, New York (March 22, 2012, 6:24 PM EDT) -- The Obama administration will provide up to $450 million, to be matched by private companies, for two U.S.-based nuclear reactor projects, the U.S. Department of Energy said Thursday.

The DOE said it is accepting requests for proposals for American-made small modular reactor developments that would be jointly funded through cost-share agreements with the U.S. power industry.
