BSKB Hires Former Patents Commissioner

Law360 (March 30, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- Nicholas P. Godici, the former U.S. Commissioner for Patents, is joining Virginia-based intellectual property specialist Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, the firm said.

Godici comes to BSKB after serving for five years as the Commissioner for Patents and as the Acting Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Godici, whose five-year term expired on March 29, was the top management official of the USPTO’s patent operations.
