Kuwait Set To Tender $2.9B Airport Terminal Job

Law360, New York (March 26, 2012, 3:39 PM EDT) -- Kuwait will solicit bids in the coming weeks for a $2.9 billion second terminal at its international airport, a project meant to transform the Gulf nation into a regional commerce hub, state-run news said Monday.

The project has already drawn interest from at least 16 international developers, the Kuwaiti News Agency reported, quoting Hussam Al-Tahous, an assistant minister in the government's public works department.
