Medical Device Makers Claim $20B Tax Will Hurt Jobs

Law360, New York (March 26, 2012, 9:38 PM EDT) -- A medical device tax due to be implemented next year — aiming to pull in roughly $20 billion through 2019 — could cause a yearly $3 billion industry decline claiming nearly 39,000 jobs, device makers trade group AdvaMed said based on a study it released Monday.
