$6B Aussie Coal Project Gets Nod Over Enviros' Objections

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 5:43 PM EDT) -- An Australian court on Tuesday greenlighted Xstrata PLC's proposed AU$6 billion ($6.3 billion) Wandoan Project — one of the world's largest coal mines and the biggest in Australia — over the objections of environmentalists and local land owners who claim the mine will fuel climate change.
