Law360, New York (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Massey Energy Co.'s chief executive has reportedly fired off a lawsuit against the West Virginia Democratic Party, claiming it smeared him by distorting his statement that two company mine blasts in 2006, which took the lives of 14 workers, were “statistically insignificant.”
