EU Trims €5M From Spanish Co.’s Bleach Cartel Fine

Law360, New York (March 28, 2012, 1:58 PM EDT) -- The European Commission on Tuesday reduced by €5 million ($6.7 million) a fine against Uralita SA months after a European court determined the competition regulator lacked evidence for many of its claims that the Spanish energy-efficient materials company participated in a bleach cartel.
