SunEdison Secures $206M For Bulgarian Solar Plant

Law360, New York (March 29, 2012, 3:01 PM EDT) -- Solar power provider SunEdison said Thursday it had reached a €155 million ($205.8 million) financing agreement with a consortium of public and private global development investors for its 60.4-megawatt solar plant in Bulgaria.

The International Finance Corp. provided €46.1 million plus a €41.1 syndication loan through UniCredit Group, and Overseas Private Investment Corp. provided another $50 million loan for the plant. The facility is currently under construction by SunEdison, a subsidiary of MEMC Electronic Materials Inc.
