Wacoal Pays $242M For UK Plus-Size Lingerie Co.

Law360, New York (March 30, 2012, 6:20 PM EDT) -- The board of directors of Japanese lingerie company Wacoal Holdings Corp. has approved a £152 million ($242 million) deal to buy Eveden Group, a collection of British underwear brands for plus-size customers, Wacoal announced Friday.

The cash sale will transfer Eveden's ownership and debt to Wacoal, the Japanese company said. Wacoal will finance the offer through a combination of its own equity and loans from unnamed Japanese banks, it said.
