Senate Energy Confirmations Include Ex-Debevoise Partner

Law360, Los Angeles (March 30, 2012, 8:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed several White House nominees who will fill key posts in the Department of Energy, including a former Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner who will serve as the department's general counsel.

Gregory Woods, who has served as deputy general counsel in the U.S. Department of Transportation since 2009, was confirmed as general counsel in the Department of Energy.
