Clarion Recalls Navigation Systems

Law360, New York (August 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Clarion Corp. became the latest company facing a product recall because of problems with lithium-ion batteries Thursday.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall of about 1,500 of California-based Clarion's N.I.C.E. P200 Navigation and Entertainment Systems, which is a portable navigation and entertainment device that can be attached to a vehicle’s windshield. About 2,500 similar units were recalled in December.
