FERC Approves Remainder Of Marcellus Shale Pipeline

Law360, New York (April 4, 2012, 6:55 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Tuesday approved the final elements of a controversial 39-mile natural gas pipeline in northeastern Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale that’s been praised as a crucial energy asset and denounced as an environmental catastrophe.

The $257 million project is being constructed by Central New York Oil and Gas, a subsidiary of Inergy Midstream LP.
