AA Fights Bid For More Info In DVT Suit

Law360, New York (August 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- American Airlines has lashed out at a bid by plaintiffs alleging they suffered a kind of harmful blood clot called deep vein thrombosis as a result of flying to compel the carrier to turn over more information in the case.

Attorneys for the carrier said in a letter to U.S. District Judge Vaughn R. Walker on Tuesday that the court should deny an Aug. 13 request by the plaintiffs' counsel to compel depositions and discovery responses from American Airlines.
