Ukraine Signs On To $10B Trans-Caspian Pipeline

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Ukraine will support a €7.9 billion ($10.3 billion) pipeline carrying gas from Turkmenistan westward on a subsea Caspian Sea line, the country said Thursday, in a project that could ease regional energy tensions and open a path for Central Asian gas to reach Europe.
