New US Study Links Soaring Earthquake Totals To Fracking

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 7:40 PM EDT) -- A team of government researchers has linked oil and gas production in certain areas of the U.S. heartland with the recent uptick in earthquakes in the region, suggesting the hydraulic fracturing process is behind the increase, according to a report abstract made widely available Friday.
