EU, Norway At Odds Over Salmon Dumping

Law360 (August 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The European Commission and the government of Norway have two different opinions on the outcome of a World Trade Organization dispute over European Union laws on salmon dumping, with the EC refuting Norway's assertion that it has won the battle.

An EC spokesperson said on Friday that Norway's claims of victory in the case were “unsubstantiated.”

“We have the draft report; it is a confidential report which will be published in September,” the Commission said. “There are no changes in the EU's approach on this issue.”...
