Circuit Court To Review Car Export Class Certification

Law360 (August 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The First Circuit has agreed to hear auto makers' appeal of a lower court's decision to grant class certification in a suit that alleges the companies colluded to keep cheaper Canadian cars out of the United States.

The case will bring together three separate appeals filed by defendants, including General Motors Corp., Nissan North America Inc., DaimlerChrysler Corp., Honda Motor Co. Ltd., and Ford Motor Co. in the complicated multi-district litigation.
