Fla. Appeals Court Stubs $79M RJR Lung Cancer Verdict

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 9:58 PM EDT) -- A Florida appeals court threw out a $79.2 million jury verdict Monday in a suit brought against R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. by the daughter of a lung cancer victim, saying the amount is greater than the evidence supports.
