Sierra Club Sues Ohio For Public Lands Drilling Plans

Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 1:15 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club's Ohio chapter sued the Ohio Department of Natural Resources on Monday, seeking to force the agency to turn over records relating to plans to allow oil and gas drilling in state parks and other public lands.

The ODNR has ignored the Sierra Club's repeated requests for lease agreements and guidelines for drilling activity, among other records, according to a complaint filed in Ohio court asking a judge to compel the agency to hand over the information.
