1st Circ. Upholds $1.4M Contract Judgment For Amicas

Law360, New York (April 11, 2012, 2:00 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit on Tuesday upheld a $1.4 million judgment for medical technology company Amicas Inc. in its contract breach suit against GMG Health Systems Ltd. over the medical provider terminating their radiology software agreement because of software flaws.

A three-judge panel rejected GMG’s argument that Amicas, a unit of Merge Healthcare Inc., never established that it had performed its obligations under the five-year contract.
