Memorylink's IP Row With Motorola Killed In Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (April 11, 2012, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit said in a precedential order Wednesday that it won't revisit its dismissal of Memorylink Corp.’s state law claim that Motorola Inc. committed legal malpractice by stealing Memorylink's intellectual property and passing it off as its own.

Following a poll of circuit judges, the Federal Circuit declined to grant the combined petition for a rehearing or a rehearing en banc, according to the order.

The majority of the appeals court refused without comment to take another look at the petition.
