Travelers Asks 8th Circ. To Make Reinsurer Share EPA Cleanup

Law360, New York (April 12, 2012, 2:10 PM EDT) -- The Travelers Indemnity Co. on Wednesday asked the Eighth Circuit to revive its claim seeking to force White Mountains Reinsurance Co. of America to help cover costs of cleaning up pollution by an oil refinery run by a company that later merged with Land O' Lakes Inc., which was insured by Travelers.
