Former Mo. Gov., Atty Charged Over Illegal Donation

Law360, Los Angeles (April 12, 2012, 5:43 PM EDT) -- Former Missouri Gov. Roger Wilson and a former Herzog Crebs LLP partner from St. Louis were both indicted on a single charge for allegedly helping to make an illegal $5,000 political donation to the state's Democratic Party, the U.S. attorney general announced Thursday.

Wilson, 63, and attorney Edward Griesedieck III, 53, could each face up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine if convicted of misappropriating funds from the Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Co., the statement said. The indictments were issued late Wednesday, according...
