Nursing Homes Say Omnicare Cheated Them With Faulty Billing

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 5:29 PM EDT) -- Seven Florida nursing homes filed a $1.7 million lawsuit Thursday accusing pharmacy giant Omnicare Inc. of billing them for goods and services they never received and violating contract terms by giving better prices to their competitors.

Most of the homes were managed by Sovereign Healthcare Holdings LLC when the contracts were signed in 2003, and all have since been taken over by Clear Choice Health Care LLC.
